Tiberium Wars takes place in the year 2047, at the advent of and during the Third Tiberium War. The Brotherhood of Nod launches a worldwide offensive against the Global Defense Initiative, abruptly ending seventeen years of silence and crippling GDI forces everywhere. With the odds tipped in the Brotherhood's favour this time, GDI field commanders rally their troops and begin to combat Nod's second re-emergence, trying to restore lost hope. The game is the first Command & Conquer title since Tiberian Sun: Firestorm in which each of the singleplayer campaigns is canon, occurring simultaneously and forming one connected storyline.
Tiberium Wars gameplay typically requires the player to construct a base and acquire resources, in order to fund the ongoing production of various types of forces with which to assault and conquer the opponent's base. All available structures of the faction chosen by the player are constructed on-site at so-called "construction yard" or "drone platform" buildings - which typically begin as large-sized vehicles or aircraft capable of deploying themselves into the aforementioned construction yards or drone platforms - or alternatively at the supporting "crane" and "foundry" structures. When a construction yard, drone platform, crane or foundry has finished building a new structure, the player can select a spot near to a pre-existing structure in order to place it, where the prefabricated building will then rapidly unfold in a distinctive manner.

As the player progresses through one of the campaigns, new entries in the game's "Intelligence Database" become unlocked, providing the player with additional background information on the storyline, the factions, as well as their units and structures. Several of these database entries require the player to complete the bonus objectives of the various missions before they can be accessed. However, due to bugs in the game's code two entries cannot be collected without the use of a downloaded mod. All cutscenes which the player has unlocked by progressing through the campaigns are made available for viewing at any time within the game's "Transmission Log" menu.
The Third Tiberium War ends. Nod takes control of the last tower and prepares for their great journey. GDI renders the Scrin inert by destroying their Relay Node, and the Scrin Foreman manages to escape, while the Overlord threatens full scale invasion. There are two series of endings for the GDI. In the first ending, the GDI commander activates a Liquid Tiberium bomb and kills millions. While the Commander is praised as a hero, General Granger resigns because he believes GDI has turned into the monsters it sought to fight against in the first place. However, if the Commander does not use the Liquid Tiberium Bomb, Boyle resigns to avoid being arrested for war crimes because he gave you permission for the Liquid Tiberium bomb, and General Granger praises the player for completing the mission in an ethical matter.
A free "BattleCast Viewer" was available for download from the official C&C website. This viewer allowed people who did not own the game to watch multiplayer matches. It was last updated for the 1.09 patch, and was never adapted to the Kane's Wrath expansion.

The game's story takes place in 2047, when Kane, having been presumed dead after the Second Tiberium War, returns and leads Nod into attacking Blue Zones after bringing down GDI's orbital command station, the GDSS Philadelphia, forcing GDI to engage them in return, and triggering the Third Tiberium War. When the conflict reaches a dramatic event from a liquid Tiberium explosion, an extraterrestrial faction called the "Scrin" suddenly invades the planet, and comes into conflict with both factions. The events of the campaigns for GDI, Nod, and the Scrin, are closely interwoven together in the same timeline, as with the Firestorm expansion pack for Tiberian Sun. The GDI campaign ending differs from the Nod and Scrin campaign endings.
Nod's remaining commanders briefly agree to a cease-fire with the GDI in order to fight the Scrin. This cease-fire ends with the reappearance of Kane, who somehow escaped alive. He reveals to the Nod player commander that he never had any intention of winning the war with GDI, and instead started it in order to provoke the Ion Cannon attack on Temple Prime. It was the only thing that could detonate his liquid Tiberium bomb with sufficient power to lure the Scrin to Earth. It was the Scrin who seeded the Tiberium on Earth, and they took the Tiberium explosion as a sign the planet was ripe for harvesting. Kane hopes to seize one of the Threshold towers the Scrin are building, which are interstellar teleportation devices they use to ship Tiberium off-world, but which he believes are gateways to humanity's "ascension". This triggers a civil war within the Brotherhood, between those who are loyal to Kane, believe in his promise of ascension, and want to protect the Scrin; and those who recognize the threat that the Scrin pose to all of humanity, believe Kane must be overthrown if the Brotherhood is to survive, and wish to preserve the alliance with GDI. Ultimately, Kane's faction wins and the suspected leader of the anti-Scrin faction is executed.
The Scrin, for their part, realize they were tricked into coming too early. They also did not anticipate such heavy resistance from the humans. Curiously, they recognize Kane from their databanks, and seek to learn more about him. However, the organized attacks on the towers endangers the Scrin player commander's safety, forcing them to focus on protecting and completing at least one tower to allow their escape.
Tiberian Dawn, Red Alert, and Tiberian Sun are officially freeware. EA Games announced them as freeware in 2007, 2008, and 2010. CnCNet provides a ready to go installer for these games, delivering a simple download and play experience.
The Australian EA site shows both Command & Conquer Red Alert 3 and Tiberium Sun being available for MAC and links to the Origin Site to purchase ( ) but when I get to the individual game page on Origin it shows as PC Download ( -au/store/buy/c-c-red-alert-3/pc-download/base-game/standard-edition)?
The EA site itself is just a catalog though, not an online store. The pages for these games say they are available for "PC Download" and "Mac". As you can also see, besides those, "PC" itself (without download) is mentioned separately, and the list does not include "Mac Download". This indicates the games were released for Mac, but there are no digital downloads for these versions.
Stream the collection across nearly all devices, even on Macs. RTX 3080 members can command up to 4K resolution and 60 frames per second from the PC and Mac apps, in the living room on the updated SHIELD TV, and on mobile devices, including the ability to stream at 120 frames per second on 120Hz Android phones. They can also conquer opponents with ultra-low latency for the best gaming sessions.
By the 21st century, GDI is focused on researching the means to combat Tiberium's spread, making use of an orbital space station called the "Philadelphia" to command its forces, while Nod has splintered following the presumed death of its leader Kane, with both factions working to develop new technology to provide each with equal strength in their armies, including armoured walkers, cyborgs, advanced defensive measures, and armoured infantry.
The campaigns of Tiberian Sun focus on a new global conflict erupting in 2030, when Kane returns and re-energises Nod, forcing GDI to combat their efforts, and resulting in the Second Tiberium War. GDI's campaign focuses on the efforts of a commander who must combat the sudden surge of attacks, working alongside a faction of mutants known as "The Forgotten", in order to thwart Kane's latest plans with Tiberium. Nod's campaign focuses on the efforts of an officer who escapes execution by a de facto leader, controlled by GDI, and works to reunite Nod in order to complete Kane's plans. 2ff7e9595c
